Hong Kong is getting almost like the "high season" of the hot summer in June.
Japan Hong Kong Musicians Alliance is now announcing and admitting the participants to the 2nd Piano Master Class, to be held prior to the 2nd Japan-Hong Kong International Music Competition.
We are prioritizing the Japan-Hong Kong International Music Competition held in Hong Kong as the core activity of our organization, while we would also like to focus on those two themes as our fundamental principles--"cultural exchange and appreciation of other culture through music" and "character building for a promising young generations". This "Master Class" series is the essential part of our activity, and the 2nd Master Class series will be held in the city of Hong Kong prior to the 2nd competition taught by the jury members of the competition.

We jury members were strongly moved by the earnest and passionate performances of those young participants of the last competition. However, we jury members were also regretful for not fully conveying musical messages to the participants, because of the nature of a music competition. We would like to utilize this "Master Class" series as the place to communicate between jury members and a young musician through musical language. This one-on-one private lesson taught by the jury members of the Japan-Hong Kong will be the most memorable and useful moment for those young musicians.
